Asma Dhakouani has studied and worked in multicultural academic and socioeconomic environments within the energy sector. After having served as technical analyst in a regional renewable energy centre and senior manager for renewables integration, energy efficiency, and the development of energy system strategies for a national utility, she currently occupies the position of Analyst, Research and Innovation at Nergica.

Since 2013, Asma has been engaged in developing expertise on macro and micro technical and economic modelling of energy systems, notably focusing on renewable energy integration and demand rationalization, as can be seen by her scientific publications.

Asma holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a PhD in industrial engineering from public universities in Tunisia, with an emphasis on energy.
