A new experience for Nergica and its interns

July 22, 2019

As part of a partnership with the Yukon Research Centre at Yukon College, Nergica is participating in an intern exchange program for the first time. As part of this program, Nergica is hosting Noah Sternbergh for four weeks, while Camille St-Arneault will be working in Whitehorse for the same period.

Camille and Noah will work, respectively, on solutions aimed at reducing winter peak energy demand in remote villages in Canada’s Far North and on assessing the stability of isolated microgrids in Canada for the integration of renewable energy. This latter project is made possible by the OPAL-RT modeling platform available to Nergica.
