Antoine Duplantie-Grenier, M. Ing.
Operations and Maintenance Analyst

Antoine Duplantie-Grenier, M. Eng.

With a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Antoine spent nearly four years building his expertise in data and software development, first at MayaHTT and then at Ubisoft, designing industrial anomaly detection tools and large-scale data ingestion architectures.

But there was one conviction that drove him on: these skills had to be measured against the challenges of our time. Energy was the obvious choice, because of its technical depth, its societal implications, and the cultural revolution it was undergoing. Antoine went back to school and, in parallel with his job, completed a master's degree in energy engineering at Polytechnique Montréal.

Two years in technico-economic modeling at ESMIA and the Accélérateur de Transition then enabled him to think about energy on a systems scale, that of scenarios, trajectories and major collective choices. It was within this framework that he contributed to the modeling of federal bills, providing the necessary scientific support for the orientations adopted. All that remained was to bring this systemic vision into dialogue with the materiality of the field.

That's what he found at Nergica. As an operations and maintenance analyst, he works at the junction between the wind producer and the research center, where field data meets science and innovation ceases to be theoretical. Antoine is convinced that it is precisely this bridge, often broken between research and deployment, that will enable the energy transition to deliver on its promises.

It's also this conviction that shapes the way he works. His strength lies in a rare triad: he's as much at home in code and software architecture as he is on a wind farm, and he knows that neither of these two worlds can stand on their own without the human dimension that links them. In his eyes, sustainable transformation is no different.
