Collaboration Agreement Between Nergica and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology

Nergica, located in Gaspé, Quebec, and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) Applied Research and Innovation Services, based in Calgary, Alberta, recently entered into a collaboration agreement to conduct potential research projects in the field of renewable energy.

The two organizations—Nergica, an applied research center, and SAIT’s applied research office—share several common interests in development and research activities related to the integration of clean energy.

Nergica’s expertise in energy production and management complements that of the Centre for Access to Technology (CAT) in green buildings and SAIT’s expertise in energy efficiency. Joint research projects could thus result from this agreement. In particular, this collaboration will enable both organizations to expand their respective presence across Canada.

For the time being, SAIT is hosting Nigel Swytink-Binnema, an analyst in research and innovation at Nergica, at its Calgary offices.
