LM Wind Power Canada Wins Three Awards at the 6th Quebec Wind Energy Industry Gala

The 6th Quebec Wind Energy Industry Gala, presented by Siemens Gamesa, honored organizations and individuals last night who have made outstanding contributions to Quebec’s wind energy sector over the past two years. The event took place as part of the 12th Quebec Wind Energy Industry Conference, attended by more than 205 guests.

Highlights

• LM Wind Power Canada took top honors in the categories Manufacturing company, Export and Company of the Year due to the unprecedented growth it has experienced.
• The price Wind Farm Developer was awarded to the Nicolas-Riou Wind Farm, the result of a public-private partnership between the Bas-Saint-Laurent Intermunicipal Energy Authority, the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine Intermunicipal Energy Authority, and EDF Renouvelables.
• The price of the Person of the Year was presented to Eva Lotta Schmidt, business development manager at ENERCON.
