Nergica is receiving financial support from the Government of Canada to advance the energy transition

The Minister of National Revenue, the Honorable Diane Lebouthillier, accompanied by the Minister of Justice, the Honorable David Lametti, announced today a financial contribution of $1,478,839 to Nergica on behalf of the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, the Honorable Mélanie Joly. This financial support confirms Nergica’s key role in the energy transition.

The financial assistance provided is broken down as follows:

• A total of $1,050,000, to be allocated over the next three years, is intended to establish, maintain, and develop Quebec’s photovoltaic (PV) solar energy sector, as well as to support innovation in this field.
• A grant of $428,839 will enable Nergica to purchase specialized equipment for microgrids, decentralized power generation, and wind energy.
