Northeast Network Planning Forum

Bringing North Americans Together for a Carbon-Neutral Future

The Northeast Grid Planning Forum envisions a future in which a new collaborative approach to energy system planning will enable various stakeholders to ensure the economic competitiveness and energy resilience of the northeastern United States and eastern Canada.

The Northeast Grid Planning Forum is a deliberative process that brings together key stakeholders to structure and strengthen collaboration among U.S. states and Canadian provinces in the northeastern part of North America, with the goal of improving interregional energy transmission networks, including system planning, bidirectional electricity flows, and community engagement.
