At a time when artificial intelligence is booming around the world, we brought together three scientists to discuss its potential for accelerating the adoption of energy transition technologies in Quebec. The link between artificial intelligence and the fight against climate change may not be obvious, but it's very real!

After covering the basics of Artificial Intelligence (AI), we will discuss its use in transportation and energy management with the guest researchers. The potential of AI to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions is still little-known, but it is considerable. This webinar will bring together three experts in the fields of AI and energy to discuss the benefits of AI in tackling energy transition issues.

Let's catalyze the energy transition!

What is CITEQ?

CITEQ - Catalyseur d'Innovation pour la Transition Énergétique au Québec - is a multidisciplinary group of college and university researchers, and members of the practical community, financed by the Fonds de recherche du Québec, Nature et technologie.

Its aim is to support stakeholders involved in Quebec's energy transition, and to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration. The three 3Ds (decentralization, decarbonization and digitalization) are at the heart of CITEQ-FRQNT's scientific program. CITEQ-FRQNT is the scientific arm of theEnergy Squad, the Energy Squad is a group of 15 college technology transfer centers (CCTTs) working together to drive the energy transition in Quebec. L'Escouade énergie helps catalyze the human, material and financial resources of the CCTTs to accelerate the adoption and adaptation of energy transition technologies in businesses and the training of the next generation.
