Nergica, formerly TechnoCentre éolien, is pleased to announce the finalists of the 6th Quebec Wind Energy Industry Gala, which will be held on June 12 in Carleton-sur-Mer as part of the 12th Quebec Wind Energy Conference. This event, presented by Siemens Gamesa, acknowledges the organizations and individuals that have distinguished themselves in the Quebec wind sector over the past two years.
Highlights
- LM Wind Power Canada won the award in the Enterprise of the Year, Manufacturing Enterprise and Exports category due to the unprecedented growth it has experienced.
- The award in the Wind Farm Developer category went to the Nicolas-Riou wind farm, a public–private partnership between the Régie intermunicipale de l’énergie du Bas-Saint-Laurent, the Régie intermunicipale de l’énergie Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and EDF Renewables.
- Eva Lotta Schmidt, business development manager for ENERCON, was selected by the jury to receive the Personality of the Year award.
