As part of its partnership with Yukon College’s Yukon Research Centre, Nergica is participating for the first time in an intern exchange. Specifically, Nergica will host Noah Sternbergh for four weeks while Camille St-Arneault will be in Whitehorse over the same period.
Camille and Noah will be respectively working on solutions aiming to reduce peak winter loads in remote villages of the Canadian Arctic and to assess the stability of remote microgrids in Canada for renewables integration. The latter project is made possible thanks to Nergica’s OPAL-RT modelling platform.
