Originally from Colombia, Mauricio Higuita Cano pursued his studies in France and later at Université de Trois-Rivières before arriving in Gaspé, where he has spent the past two years working for Nergica as a research and innovation analyst. As an expert in designing and developing energy management systems for hybrid microgrids using renewable energy sources, he dreams of contributing to research to fight pollution and make the world a better place.
